Day 2: D-Day!

D-Day! Uncle Charlie booked a van to ferry us from the apartment to the resort - so after a light breakfast, we were all sardined up ready to be shipped. The weirdest thing happened on our way there... we were suddenly blocked by traffic Police for like a 10 mins - you know like how the Police would block-off a road if there are VIPs travelling or some heavy vehicle... So yeah, there we were wondering what kind of "major event" we were in for.. when suddenly, this entourage of like 5-10 cyclist rode by on the OTHER side of the road. It wasn't even a one-lane-per-direction road! Those cyclist had both the roads on the opposite direction - so, I really didn't get why we had to stop.

Wasn't too sure what time we arrived at the resort - didn't really matter since we would be moving around in groups. Family outing S.O.P. When it comes to such occasions, I don't think - I just follow. They say go here, you just follow. =p

After the tea ceremony, while waiting for the bride to change, we went for a short exploration of the resort... followed by the ceremony itself at the resort's Wedding Pavilion and the luncheon at a restaurant nearby.

We rushed a little after we got back from the tour - only to find that we probably misheard the time of the dinner reception. We ended up there super early, and sat there idle for quite some time while waiting for the rest of the guest to arrive. Well, now we had time for lots of photos around the grand ballroom (the dinner was moved to the ballroom due to uncertainty in weather).

All-in-all, it was a beautiful wedding! Big thanks to Dion and Amy for inviting us. We had fun~! and hope that you guys did too.. between you guys rushing here and there.

All the best to the both of you~!
